ABOUT THE AUTHOR

After a long and successful career in early education as a teacher, director, and consultant to other leaders, Marcia has returned to her creative outlet, writing. She has journaled for years. She writes about what she has learned from the experiences she has lived—both professionally and personally. She continues to teach, mentor, motivate, support, and inspire other women.

At age seventy, the desire to share what she had learned throughout her leadership career was strong. Her first book, Beginning to End—the Life Cycle of a Child Care Center was published!

At seventy-five, she has written her second book, The Way of the Elegant Spirit. This is the inward journey of her life, the journey she has never shared—until now.

This is her story—how one woman learned to believe in the unbelievable; to listen from within; and then, to act. The opportunities from her leaps of faith were extraordinary, arriving just when she needed them—in perfect order. If her journey can guide, support, and connect other women to the inner world awaiting them, she will have fulfilled her earthly assignment.
